1. Quality Inspection Report Introduction
Quality inspection reports are safety and performance tests conducted on products to facilitate entry into platforms such as Taobao and JD mall or supermarkets, or as references for consumers. Different platforms have different requirements for products, industries, and categories, including GB national standards, industry standards, and e-commerce standards, among others. These requirements are used to evaluate the quality of products. Products without qualified quality inspection reports will be unable to enter platforms such as JD/Taobao mall.
2. Quality Inspection Report Requirements for Product Entry into E-commerce Platforms
Quality inspection reports must be issued by qualified national laboratories;
The inspection report must cover the product in question;
The inspection report must be stamped with CNAS, CMA, or other relevant stamps;
The inspection report must be for the product in question;
If the product has a brand, the brand must be marked on the inspection report.

5. Requirements for Quality Inspection Reports
Provide a Chinese user manual (the product name and model on the manual must be consistent with those on the product nameplate. For products in the same series, if different models and specifications use the same manual, the differences must be noted in the manual).
The text size and type of the manual must also be specified.
Product nameplate is required on the product: The nameplate must have the manufacturer's name (for domestically produced products, the legally registered name of the product manufacturer must be marked; for imported products, the original manufacturer's name may not be marked, but the origin (country or region) must be marked).
6. Quality Inspection Report Fees
Quality inspection report fees are related to the products and testing items and standards being tested, and vary depending on the product category, testing items, and testing time.
7. Quality Inspection Report Validity Period
Firstly, product quality inspection reports are issued based on the different nature, purpose, and electrical characteristics of the product, selecting appropriate national or industry standards for testing. Therefore, the detection reports issued by the testing institution do not have a specific validity period and are based on regulations. As long as the regulations do not change, theoretically, the reports are always valid.
However, for Tmall, the regulatory authorities of the mall conduct random inspections, and for different products, they may require you to update the quality inspection report once a year or six months. To ensure that the products you are currently selling maintain a relatively high quality.
8. Where to Apply for Quality Inspection Reports
Quality inspection reports are comprehensive and objective, providing a clear picture of a product's quality information. They are usually issued by independent third-party professional quality inspection institutions that are independent of both supply and demand parties. These institutions have relative independence, impartiality, and authority, and are qualified to issue Fair Data (Quality Inspection Report) to society.
